Rest of Birthday presents and Kiki's invitation to play

We got back from holiday last night and after unpacking and settling in a little, we set up Kiki's remaining presents.

Butlins Birthday

As we were away for Kiki's birthday, we took some of her presents with us to leave out for her in the morning.
I took wrapping paper, but forgot sellotape so left them unwrapped.

Like she cared, she was happy to get straight in to playing. She especially loved her little dolls' house from her Uncle and Aunt.

Christmas Shopping Already?

I try to buy presents throughout the year, for two reasons; firstly I have more chance of finding something just right, and secondly, it helps me spread the cost.

Although this particular present wasn't a planned purchase. Having been looking for a trike on eBay, I found this.

A battery powered quad bike for toddlers. The people selling had bought it at Christmas for their daughter, but she didn't like it, so was only used about three times. It's for 18 months plus, so is going away for Kiki. The seller included the receipt and guarantee, they had paid £45 from Smyth's Toy Store and I managed to win auction for less than £15!

eBay Birthday Bargains

I have used eBay for lots of things, especially whilst pregnant and since for baby related things. I mean some things are ridiculously expensive and only used for such a short time.

For example, when I was pregnant I bought a load of second hand muslins dirty cheap, OK so they weren't white anymore, but a boil wash and a packet of Flamingo pink machine dye and I had cheap funky muslins. We have had lots of compliments on them too!

I have bought and sold quite a lot of clothes too.

So I often have a look on baby related items, just in case. I wanted a parent handled trike for Little Lady's birthday, I really liked the Smart Trike but it was too expensive for us. I looked on eBay and managed to get a Hello Kitty Trike, a toddler slide, and a bundle of Fisher Price, Toys R' Us, etc. toys from the same buyer for £19!

What a bargain!
