Proud Mummy

Today, for the very first time, my Little Lady pulled herself up into a standing position.

She has been standing whilst we held her for a while, but this was the first time that she did it by herself.

I'm such a proud mummy!

Christmas Shopping Already?

I try to buy presents throughout the year, for two reasons; firstly I have more chance of finding something just right, and secondly, it helps me spread the cost.

Although this particular present wasn't a planned purchase. Having been looking for a trike on eBay, I found this.

A battery powered quad bike for toddlers. The people selling had bought it at Christmas for their daughter, but she didn't like it, so was only used about three times. It's for 18 months plus, so is going away for Kiki. The seller included the receipt and guarantee, they had paid £45 from Smyth's Toy Store and I managed to win auction for less than £15!

Summer Sun

Myself, Daddy and Little Lady went to Blue Dolphin Caravan Park on holiday this week.

It was one of the Sun paper promotions, (please don't judge me!), and all we could afford after Daddy's redundancy last year.

To be honest, we weren't expecting much, I mean one caravans much the same as any other. I remember staying a Primrose Valley as a kid, but I don't remember anything about the actual park.

Blue Dolphin is a Haven park and has a variety of activities on site, such as a fishing lake, playgrounds, sports centre, as well as the actual entertainment complex.

Although there are lots of activities available, either included or for a fee, that suited a variety of ages, only a couple seemed suitable for the age of Little Lady, and they seemed to be middle in the day. As we went out to various places, we didn't get to try them.

The site is great for exploring the East Coast. Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington, Robin Hood's Bay, and Flamborough are all within easy reach. There is a bus stop outside of the park, if you don't have a car / want to drive.

Can you tell Little Lady likes to eat the sand?
