I've been very lax of the blogging front recently, with the Little Lady and general CBA syndrome, but I'm trying to get better.
I enjoy the theory behind Reasons to Be Cheerful (#R2BC), check out this post from Michelle at Mummy from the Heart for a full description.
There must be small things I am grateful for each week. I will try to keep this in mind...
- My baby is a healthy and happy girl. Now obviously, this isn't specifically related to just this week, but in the news this week an 11 month old boy was killed and there is an investigation into a one year old girl's death. My heart goes out to both families involved, and also to anyone else who has lost a child.
- I have partnered with Warner Bros. to start a new competition on my blog to win some Friends goodies. See 30 Days of Friends Competition.
- I have finally made a start on decluttering by selling on eBay, although at the moment, my house looks more cluttered whilst I sort it!
So that's my reasons to be cheerful this week, how about yours?
Oh that's so sad, yes we should all be thankful and hug our little ones that little bit closer! x
ReplyDeleteIt is truly heartbreaking that innocent people are killed, seems a bit more raw when it's a child x
DeleteLove number 1 most of all well the bits about your baby I mean.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking of trying to make some extra cash via ebay but don't know what sells well.
Thanks for connections today
Thanks Kate, a good way to check what sells is to look in advanced options and search for what you are planning to sell, you'll get an idea of price too.
DeleteBy the time anything in this house has worked its way through the 3 boys its too rubbish to selll!! Haha. Great reasons x
ReplyDeleteAs I went a bit crazy shopping for baby clothes, some haven't even been worn once. Oops! Lesson learned though...
Deletelovely reasons, its always nice to declutter and ebay is a great place to sell things, have a great weekend xx
ReplyDeleteI'm not really feeling decluttered at the moment. Everything that was spread throughout the house is now in one room, it looks like a bomb went off!
DeleteLovely reasons, it's always great to declutter. I need to sort through things too..we have too much stuff in our house! x
ReplyDeleteI used to be quite sentimental about things, but after my mum passed away, I realised it's not the items, it's the memories, and you can't take them away. It is hard to start doing it as I want to save stuff, 'oh Kiki looked so pretty in this outfit..' etc. but it will only end up in a box in cellar!
DeleteLovely reasons - I love decluttering. :)
ReplyDeleteIt can be quite therapeutic!
